No. It is a forecast, and the sky can surprise you. Conditions can change, and a building, hill or bank of cloud can hide your view. Use the score to make a plan, then have a look outside before you go.

Yes. Search for cities around the world and save the places you want to keep an eye on. You can check upcoming sunrises and sunsets before you get there.

The app is free to download. A subscription unlocks forecasts, alerts, city search and saved favourites. You’ll see the available plans and current price in the app before subscribing.

No separate Sunset Score account is needed. Subscriptions are handled through the App Store or Google Play.

Choose the cities you want to follow and turn on alerts in the app. Allow notifications when your phone asks. If alerts don’t arrive, check the app’s notification permission in your phone settings, along with any Focus or Do Not Disturb settings.

Open your subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play and select Sunset Score. Cancellation is handled by the store where you subscribed. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

You can search for a city manually. For details about location and other data, read the privacy policy.

You need an internet connection to fetch an up-to-date forecast. If a forecast isn’t loading, check your connection and try opening the app again.

Email info@sunset-score.com with your phone model, app version and a short description of what happened. For a forecast issue, include the city, date and whether you were checking sunrise or sunset. A screenshot can help too.
